Hey...that looks promising. I downloaded the script...unfortunately, now I don't know what to do with it. Hopefully I'll have time to play around with it (or one of you programmers, since I know about as much as scripting as you know about animations) when finals are over.

I think you need a longer post detailing exactly how you fixed those problems.

A screen cast would be helpful, too.

This is a good idea. I have a feeling though that we might be able to do the same thing with less cutting and pasting.

You said "when a Wicket is clicked, information about the movement of the mouse is transferred to Wicket." Why not just do this to the lastClickedWicket as long as the mouse button is down and the mode is MOVE_MODE? In other words, continue calling it's leftClick() method for as long as the mouse is being clicked--regardless of whether it's on top of the lastClickedWicket or not.

I figured that if I did not use my administrative powers to tag your post with "Julios," then the people who don't like Julio's would have already won. So.

I'm very happy that the chat box is closable. It tends to get annoying, as cool as it potentially is.

By the way, the movement while objects are joined seems to be working except for two minor things:

1) When you first object A to object B (with A as the parent), object B seems to adjust in the y-direction to match the height of object A. Can anyone confirm this?

2) When you rotate the parent object, the child object becomes impossible to translate because when you move the mouse in one direction, it heads off in another direction. I think that whatever we're doing in RelationalMovable or Wicket or ClickManager (whatever the hell is controlling our click-and-drag these days) needs to compensate for the object's parent's local rotation.

Also, in response to the "Edit" addendum above, Carl managed to fix the problem in which children don't move across the terrain properly.

You might want to try making your own model (I don't know what kind of model the crystal button makes) or try playing around with the textures or materials? I have NO clue how to add textures in Maya...so we probably need to get that figured out anyway.

I tried the crystals. The good news is that the game doesn't crash. But the bad news is that they don't seem to appear. Ideas?
